Hi all,

Can you critique this play and tell me whether it was correct or not. The table had been pretty tight and the Villain seemed solid enough (i.e. I had not seen him play too many hands or get involved in many pots post flop.

Miffed22001 is on a distinguished road
fold the turn.
You bet two pair and he still told you no good. If you had a set here this is fine with two pair its boarderline bad IMO.

78s 666,999 are all hands that beat you here.

Miffed,

I know your right and deep down I knew this at the time but I just could not let it go. Its good to be told sometmes though.

It happened 3 times more where I had a reasonable hand (Overpair) and couldn't let it go when I was told I was beat. Each time it was by another overpair bigger than mine. This is definately something I need to work on.

Needess to say this is an expensive lesson, well it has been for me!

Cheers
