I switched from limit and I've been playing $25NL at Party over the past while when I've had time (work is busy). After 15K hands I'm running at about 9BB/100. My VP$IP is roughly 18. I noticed, however, I'm only raising about 5% of the time.

I'm not too sure how to handle this. I know I'm going to get people saying "raise everyhand and play post-flop", I just don't know how well this applies to $25NL where raises don't get much respect.

I guess the big question is what do I do next? Do I try playing 6max to improve my game or do I try and move up to $50NL? I don't think I can just jump straight to $100NL (I do have the bankroll) it's just a psychological thing for me right now sitting down with $100. I would need some time at $50 first.

I also had a VP$IP of 18-20% and a PFR of 5 over 75k hands at NL25-NL100 so I see nothing wrong with your stats. It is working well for you so you don't need to change anything

If you're bankrolled for NL100, I'd suggest that you start playing NL50. You won't see that much difference between both stakes. I've been slow to move up to.. I moved to NL50 when I was bankrolled for NL100.. And moved to NL200 when I was bankrolled for NL400.

As for 6-max, you can it give a try if you want but this is a whole different game.. It is good if you want to work on your agression post-flop. However, I prefer sticking to one game.. Lately I've played a lot of MTTs and 6-max where you need to be very agressive... But my 10-max ring games suffered because I was playing too agressive, trying to push people around

9BB/100 at 25NL is fine. If you want to start rasing more then raise some hands situationally and start blind stealing more. Stuff like that. In full ring where they are going to pay you off anyway though you really dont need to be raising many hands before the flop IMO. Some stuff needs to be isolated but all the 86s, nut sort of hands that you want to play are best just limped if they are going to pay you off anyway.
gabe: Ive dropped almost 100k in the past 35 days.

bigspenda73: But how much did you win?
