Hello everybody I know I have been on here for a couple weeks and I would first like to start off by saying thank you for this awesome site and thank all you guys for your help.
Tyler is my first name and Rex is my middle hence the name T-Rex which I only figured out about 2 years ago haha. Im 19 and I WILL become professional poker player not saying that in cockyness but in my determination.
How my poker journey started:
First learned the game about 2 years ago and have fallen in love ever since making my first deposit month's later 50 dollars every week about losing it ever time. Then about 200 every few weeks always losing it I knew I had a nature thing for the game and knew this was what i was gunna do with my life right away but had horrible bankroll management went to no forums or talked to other people so i really knew nothing but i had a good feel for the game. I played and I always did good but always lost do to bankroll management which i had no idea what that was and tilt and just not fully understanding poker. So I have spent MONTHES LEARNING/LOSING lots of money in poker to try n get better so lots of experience Because i have a job i get like 600 every 2 weeks i spend it all on poker.Did not play for a lil bit do to partying / chillin with friends. Past 2 monthes I have 100% dedicated my life to poker and I will until i start making my living off it. I have quit all drugs I quit just "chillin" with friends I am 100% dedicated to poker i have quit everything for it. I am Determined to make it my living and theres not a doubt in my mind. I cant wait to be 21 I live in las vegas so i can always goto the casinos ( I HAVE GREAT READING abilitys! i have that CRAZY 6th sense for it.
I play a 9-20 man sit n go style touny every couple monthes threw a work friend so I am always really excited with that so I have played live maybe only 5 times with complete stranger I have played some with friends n such thow. I won 1st and 4th so far
Now to my stats nnot sure what to post so i just posted everything this is my 400 deposit that i planned making my last until FOREVER! Its my first run with a reall good understanding of everything I have finaly cccreated my game now i must plug the leaks this is very excited for me! btw i have started lots of tables so stats might be a lil skewed because of that. Plz let me know of anything out of the normal!

25NL 6-Max 4-6 Tables
I know 10K is not alot of hands!!!!!!its my first educated run i wanna plug leaks fast!!!An the graph for thows who are curious. Huge downfall at 6800 is me taking shot at 50NL getting 1 bad beats and 2 coolers. 8600-9900 not so right mind playing and i was playing like 8 tables like a retard my friend died n shit was wack i dunno

Pretty consistent looking graph so far, good work.
Are you using PT3? If so how did you get the details tab? Mine doesn't have that.

There is such a thing as too much confidence.
It sounds like you lost a lot, so you probably still have a long way to go to just become a break-even player. I wish you all the best, but know your limitations.

im not over confident i don't have the noob confidence...u get no where being confident I always focus on my negatives thats what makes u better. Sorry if you guys don't understand this.
Ive probably lost a lil under 1k in almost a years worth of play so im still down in poker!

since I started playing online I've always been up
I recommend you don't cash anything out until you've at least more than broken even and you're sitting at like at least 25NL (if you're going to cash out like $100) or 100NL (large purchases)
Make sure you can put in lots of hours into poker
but also make sure you can enjoy yourself otherwise
so play say 30 hours a week, spend 10 hours studying
but remember that your will to play will diminish if you don't do anything fun with friends

I would've thought 8bb/100 was pretty decent at 25nl...

24-tabling at around 2k hands an hour this is still an early start or playing hungry...

Is it really possible to 24-table stakes higher than like 20nl and show a steady profit? When does the competition improve to the point where this would make someone lose money overall?

Spenda's friends are cooler than mine.

That's how winners play; we convince the other guy he's making all the right moves.

That sounds soul-crushingly awful. I wonder if anyone actually does that. Like, without ever intending to get better, just keep 24-tabling for that sweet, sweet rakeback.
