well, this is actually my second go 'round with online poker. last year i deposited $50 on PP and gradually lost it all playing $6 sng's. bought some books & joined ftr in the process but too little too late i guess.

round 2:
my dad called me up one day this march and basically told me i need to start playing again cause there's money to be made here (online poker). so, motivated by his stories of retards basically handing him stacks of cash, i redeposited $50 on stars and tried again. played a few (13) $5.50 sng's and lost $4. i then decided $50 wasn't enough to be playing $5.50's and opted for the .01/.02 nl full ring and just recently started testing out 6-max.

i've found cash games to be much more to my liking. i used aok's 19-hand strategy to begin with and am now trying to open up my game some more in the 6-max. so here's my stats for the first 11k hands of my second try. . .I MAKE MONIES!!!! YAY!!!!

anyway. . . i'm just trying to take it slow, not lose my 'roll, and learn how to play poker. hopefully move up to .05/.1 when i get to $200, also start playing some sng's and mtt's again as i find them highly entertaining.

well, here's some stats. questions, comments, concerns?

Wow that's some dedication, nice work. Only thing that is really striking is the utg limping, mentioned by bodeist. I don't really forsee it being such a big problem at micro stakes though, I use to see a lot of cheap flops at 10nl and below. Just don't make it a habit once you start moving up, esspecially in 6max.

You can still buyin for $5 and have an eff stack of 100bbs. The sooner you move up the better for your bankroll, you'll crush it. You will see crappy players all the way until 100nl, where it starts to get tougher. I didn't really notice decent multitablers until 25nl on any site.

Play more hands on the button, and raise more often when you have position. Limping stuff in early position is kinda meh as you move up, but prob OK in this game (i never played 2nl). Regardless, those numbers look fairly solid, so I'd think about moving up to 5NL (but just buy in for 100BB like leg says)

FWIW i play 15/8 overall at full ring, my VP$IP UTG is about 9%, and my button is something like 23%.
