Hi guys. I've been a lurker round these parts for the last 6ish months and am recently "celebrating" moving from 5nl to 10nl. I decided once I moved up I would join the community and try and become an active member rather than hitting and running with whatever information I could get my hands on.
Poker history? Started playing last July and mucked around in $1 sng's and mtts until Feb when I discovered this site and a strategy for FR cash games. Since then I've moved through 2 and 5nl as previously mentioned. It's taken a bit of time due to:
a) Playin on a Euro site with not a huge amount of traffic
b) My long working days meaning I don't have the time to play as much as I'd like, and
c) My unashamed uber-nit BRM. (Deposited $10 last july and it's now $400)
Since starting playing 2nl with $80 I've always preferred around 40 BI for my current level which I realise may be a bit much but tbh I guess I'd rather be rolled up the ass if I ever make it to 100 or 200nl so why not start good habits now?
In terms of stats I'm currently 22/4 at 5nl which I realise is ridiculous and is one of the first things I'd like to sort out at 10nl. My BB/100 is 31.3 which I realise won't remain forever, especially with stats like those above. For my first session tonight I plan on two tabling a bit to see what it's like and look to raise most everything playable from LP and drop some mediocre hands from EP to lower that VPP.
Anyway, sorry for the essay. I'm off to check this shit out.

Is this FR or 6max??
Also welcome to FTR, and it sounds like your off to a good start. I definately like your BRM skills, and applaude you for that.
Yeah judging by your stats, you have some work to be done, but nothing that can't be sorted out. Good luck on your session tonight.

welcome to ftr man! great to see you follow brm already. good luck at 10nl. is there a reason you don't play on stars or ftp? there's a ton of traffic at those 2, and you can get rb at ftp (which is necessary at their 10nl due to excessive rake).

Wikipedia is the best thing ever. Anyone in the world can write anything they want about any subject. So you know you are getting the best possible information.

I had a sportsbook account with Ladbrokes when I started playing so used their software. The rest is just familiarity to be honest. Might consider shipping some cash to a major site though. I only 4 table at the best of times which I can do on Ladbrokes most nights so it really is laziness which prevents me!

Welcome, grats, and GL!
Youve already got the first and most important skill down (BRM), which is a great start. The rest will come with a little hard work and practise.
