Villain is like 30/8 over only 40 hands or so, havnt seen a 3bet as yet. He 3bet so small that i called. Even if i make a pair of kings im not sure if im good tbh.

I gave him QQ+ AKs+, but after his turn bet i thought JJ is possible or im just paranoid?

I dont think hes calling a flop raise with worse, and dont see much need to protect my hand as his range here doesnt have many outs.
His turn bet threw me, i mean if he thinks at all he can put me on Ax right? and hes betting hard into it. I feel like at best im splitting with AK, aside from a chance bluff. But i also have a nagging feeling that he is just being spewy with KK/QQ.

<---confused tbh. Let me know what y'all think

I want to throw out something very important that I don't know if you know about or not: the new default buy-in for the 40-100bb tables is 80bb.

I have no interest in discussing strategy with a protege'. Your job is to remain quiet and listen. I have a very systematic approach that I will share with the right candidate and I promise that I will turn you into a force of nature and show you elements of the game of poker that you never knew existed.

well, you're obviously not folding. So how best to get him to stack off with the part of his range that you beat? raising the turn smallish is probably best.

With stacks I think call turn/call river or call turn/shove river if checked to is best. Yeah I think he can have JJ but even if he just has JJ/AK you just gotta keep calling. I think like he can have AQ too which makes it even more of a call. If we had AQ then we could discuss folding (which I think you are trying to get at?) but now here.

i think you are happy enough getting it in here, just take the line that makes villain's range widest (as has been said). which is probably smooth the turn and call or shove on any river except a Q.

Board: Jd Ac 9s 7d
Dead:
equity win tie pots won pots tied

Hand 0: 59.693% 42.65% 17.05% 319 127.50 { AsKs }
Hand 1: 40.307% 23.26% 17.05% 174 127.50 { JJ, AQs+, AQo+ }

not sure what spoon meant to imply by pointing out the buy-in. maybe that 20% smaller stacks make getting it in with tptk even less of a mistake (its almost never a mistake against some guys, mind you) against most villains than it is with 100bb?

if it was me , I'd probably have squeezed pre and raised it up to $2.50 to price out the set miners and if they call , with that flop you shouldn't have any trouble to get it all in . Villain won't be able to make a .60 bet into a 6$+ pot on the flop
