Haven't been playing for a while. I have time now, so I've bought software and been reading more topics and stuff. Had a bad run at 10NL and moved down a level for a while, but worked my way back up. Laughed at how high my all-in EV line was compared to my actual winnings. So it goes.

Been running a little bit more smoothly recently. I figured I should remember some more key hands and compare my line with the one you guys would take.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.10 BB (8 handed) - Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

Hero (SB) ($15.55)
BB ($3.05)
UTG ($11.35)
UTG+1 ($3.10)
MP1 ($7.10)
MP2 ($5.55)
CO ($10)
Button ($8.15)

Preflop: Hero is SB with 8, 8
2 folds, MP1 bets $0.30, 3 folds, Hero calls $0.25, BB calls $0.20

MP1 is about 20/2 from about 60 hands, and despite being passive preflop, rarely likes to just call postflop. That "2" made me focus very closely after he raised. BB is 67/0 from only a few hands, but has been pretty passive up to this point.

Flop: ($0.90) A, 8, 5 (3 players)
Hero checks, BB bets $0.30, MP1 raises to $0.70, Hero...

Obviously this is a hand where we want all the money in by the end. If it was just MP1, I'd know how to proceed instantly, but with an extra opponent that may raise, it was more interesting. What line would you take to get from point A to point B? If you raise, how much?

given this is 10NL they're not going to realize that you mostly have a set when you raise it to a ghey amount like $1.9

20/2 makes me think that if you reraise again, to say $1.50 or something, he'd be likely to call. same for a passive SB that's suddenly raising preflop
<JustinSKS> Tha'ts why I fold my 33 to 72o, because 7 high beats, 1 pair, donk.

JR: lets do it JUAN
JR: mono e mono
JR: man to man
JR: HU4ROLLZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
Dealer: juan0984 folds

i would think just call here, yes you do want to get the money, but with 2 clubs on the board, i would think one of them is just raising or calling for the flush, maybe the original guy has a ace/king or so, but if you just call you might have to fold if another club comes up, so i can see why you would raise, if i was going to raise i would do about 2
