Less than 50 hands on villian so no reads.

Ok so do i call here and check most turn back to him or do can i just fold right on the flop ?

Poker Stars $0.05/$0.10 No Limit Hold'em - 6 players

UTG: $11.50
MP: $7.10
Hero (CO): $17.75
BTN: $7.85
SB: $5.35
BB: $9.60

Pre Flop: ($0.15) Hero is CO with J Q
2 folds, Hero raises to $0.30, BTN calls $0.30, 2 folds

Flop: ($0.75) J 5 T (2 players)
Hero bets $0.40, BTN raises to $1.20, Hero folds

It's well played. Nothing wrong with bet/folding weak One pair hands on drawy flops against unknown villains. He could have JT, JJ, TT, 55, AJ, KJ, KQ, FD, etc here. It's very unlikely he is raising a worse made hand, and all of his draws have 35%+ equity, which is best case scenario for you (other than him bluffing). However, worse case scenario he has a better made hand, and you are either nearly drawing absolutely dead or have 3-5 outs, of which you aren't sure which are good.

Your hand likely doesn't have enough equity to 3bet the flop, and a call puts you into a lot of tricky/terrible situations on the turn.
