Villian Stats : (VP$IP/PFR [Street Aggression] 3-bet%)

Less than 20 hands on villian.

My Thoughts And Questions

Unknow villian and the over bet looks like a draw and not a strong made hand (sets, two pairs).

The best draw he can have is a flush + gutter.

Alright to stack off here ? I dont expext to see hands like AK/AQ either as he would have raised these my guess.

Poker Stars $0.05/$0.10 No Limit Hold'em - 5 players

BB: $11.55
UTG: $7.25
CO: $9.85
BTN: $18.00
Hero (SB): $10.00

Pre Flop: ($0.15) Hero is SB with A J
2 folds, BTN calls $0.10, Hero raises to $0.50, 1 fold, BTN calls $0.40

Flop: ($1.10) A 4 8 (2 players)
Hero bets $0.70, BTN raises to $17.50 all in, Hero?

Erm probably fold here in the absence of info to suggest villain is at least a little crazy. A4 and A8 are a pretty big part of his range here I think and we don't have amazing equity against any draws.

We're either slightly ahead vs draws, or way behind imo.

I've encountered a fair amount of donks at these stakes that play nut hands absurdly fast like this and this is never total air. If we give him a range of A4, A8, A9, A10, AJ, AQ, 44, 88 and flush draws, our equity sucks.

Yeah... I agree with Carroters - looks like this guy could have 2 pair here or he's overplaying a smaller ace, but I'd wait to find out if he's crazy or not before I shove all my chips in. Sometimes I'm willing to pay for information, but rarely this much at these stakes. Pretty easy fold for me.

Hoopy is an unknown quantity at this point
Vs an unknown I fold this, most of the time this is a huge hand which is scared of the FD.

I am biased a bit because I don't play these stakes and expect this is "a fishy bluff/bad value conception from a weak ace" play by villain a lot
