Ok so I don't know if there is much to be learned from this sampling or not but if so please let me have it. I started off at 2nl then moved up to 5nl at about the 4k hand mark. Things went well until I got really fucked up on x-mas eve and played a little drunk poker. I took some time off and then when I came back I moved back down to 2nl for the last 1630 hands which is where I built it back up a little.
If there is other more helpful info I can pull off of HEM please give me some suggestions. If this has been a total waste of your time I apologize.

Ok I'm adding this after the fact. I found this while playing with HEM and it looks like it probably will expose a lot a leaks!

The object is to fill the pot of experience before you empty the pot of luck."

everyone used to think 10k hands was a good benchmark to start evaluating stats but its really just the tip of the iceberg. Just keep grinding and talk to people/post hands along the way. that said:

1. stop limping UTG. Stop open limping period. Its weak and wont get you anywhere.

2. Your way too nitty. Lear to play like a 18/14ish at least. If you can learn to play even looser now it will be easier later. Maybe its ok to nit it up playing 2nl/5nl trying to learn the game, but at some point you need to loosen up.

3. Your positional vpip/pfr stats are way too flat. I dont know exactly what the numbers should be, but if you're playing 16/11 your EP should be like 7/7, MP like 10/8, CO like 18/14 and Button 23/18. BB looks decent but SB seems like your calling too many weak hands.

Edit: I'm not exactly sure how this should break down, but to give you a comparison i play 24/20 and my position stats break down as follows. EP is 16/16, MP is 19/18, CO is 31/28 and the button is 38/32.

Anyway, you get the point, you should be playing (not limping) way fewer hands in EP/MP, and way more hands in the CO and Button. Exploiting position is one of the best and consequently easiest things you can learn to vastly improve your game.

4. dont play drunk. its going to get you no where. I can proudly say i've never played poker (online atleast) drunk.

while there are plenty of leaks in your game that need be fixed, i think its safe to say that the most likely outcome is that you took a shot and lost.

HEM have W$WSF stat, find it pretty important for nits

I remember a certain person who was a nit and had this number under 40%...not a good sign when you're playing a ridiculously tight range.
