I have just started playing .10 about three days ago. Here is some things i have noticed and want to make sure it just isn't out of the ordinary.
1. Compared to .05 holdem .10 is alot more aggressive. This i expected

2. .10 has alot more donks playing than at .05. I got called by second pair to hit two pair on the river everyday i have played
(please don't take what i just said as crying about bad beats I know my decisions was the right one over time so i am not worried about it. i double checked on poker stove)

3. The players there are just alot looser compared to .05

So here is what i did to adjust my style I did play pretty much loose aggressive style that worked out pretty well at the lower levels. I have tightened up and slowly am turning things around is there a better way to adjust to this style of play or have what i seen been pretty much different from what others see thanks
Don

I think every time you move up you will think the play becomes more aggressive. Just keep playing aggressive yourself...ABC poker! Don't get fancy at micros. Three days at any level isn't going to really give you a good idea of the play at that level. Just play your game and you'll be at $25nl in no time (and yes its probably more aggressive than $10). Good luck!

I've been grinding 10nl for about 3 months now consistently and have noticed that while more aggressive they are also more donkish. The problem is, there are a lot of regular grinders down there too, who will take advantage of your mistakes if they can find them... lately I have suffered from FPS and have been burned (fancy play syndrome). Play basic poker, aggressive when you are ahead, work on reads (these have been invaluable for me when I can develop accurate ones) and play position, position, position.

Good luck, I'll see you at 10Nl... Monty

Wait players are looser in 10nl than in 5nl? Usually it's the other way around
