I am so tired of 10 NL
Is there any way to beat these stakes?????
People are chasing flush draws calling pot size bets and I should be happy about this but I am not. And I am not one of those people who thinks online poker is rigged and "flush draws always hit" and etc.
Sure its +EV for me when people call my w/o proper pot odds, but it also means there is no way I can put them on a hand. These guys will call 8x BB pre-flop raises with any two suited cards hoping for that 1/60 chance of flopping a flush.
Someone please help me by giving me some tactics for use in 10NL games. Should I just save money and br myself for 25NL?

mate it is frustrating. but it is beatable.
just nut camp and set farm. i am not that experienced but this is the best method of beating this game. nothing fancy.
i usually five table at UB and play like this and average about 2-3 buyins a session (usually two-three hours).
However it is really frustrating when this happens, and its more often than you would think.
Last night on two separate occasions:
I flop set – yippy, so I bet pot from early pos. They call. AI for me on turn and they call – (Both times with gunshots). – they make. It happens.
So an otherwise winning night ended –EV.
Just remember that bad beats mean you actually played well.

For every hand that turns or rivers a third suited card, there are two that don't. You wouldn't bat an eyelid when the guy who has called all the way just folds on the river when the flush doesn't hit. Or you just chuckle if he calls and mucks his no-pair-jack-kicker-busted-flush-draw. By the time the next hand is dealt, you've forgotten everything about the hand except the fact that that guy is a fish.
But when he makes stupid calls all the way and goes all in on a gutshot only to catch it on the river, it's memorable! It sticks out like the proverbial because not only was it astonishingly stupid, it cost you half (or all) your stack! Man, I can't believe these fish get lucky all the time!

I started at 10nl, 25nl isn't that much different, unless you fancy going over to Empire and playing poker with a bunch of rocks. Tight play should destroy this level. Read this thread:

Or you could try AOK's counterplay strat :

In fact, just read all of AOKrongly's posts
