1/2 live, only at table for maybe 15 hands. Typical 1/2 players from what I can tell, laggy/bad. Stacks of $300 for players involved.
Hero in MP with raise to $8. SB and BB call.
Flop
check, check, Hero bets $15, call call
Turn :Ac:
checks around
River :Tc:
SB bets $20, BB raises to $40, Hero ???
Also how's my line?
{Mods: guess this should go in FR NL Forum if anyone wants to move?}

Too many hands got there. Boat was already there and now backdoor flush coulda gotten there since the turn checked through. I don't think I can fold t his in a live game, but I probably flat call cause we're squeezed with SB still to act. I fold if SB pushes or raises again.

With a bet and reraise in front, I decided to play conservative and fold. SB calls. Sb has 64, BB had 63, neither with a flush(or even a draw) and they chop.
I think that was a pretty bad reraise by the BB, I didn't really put him on something as weak as trips NK. Heads up I woulda called, or if it went bet, call I also call.

Other than the straight flush, you just made your best hand possible with those cards.
You bet into the flop, so if there is a boat there, it was probably already there, as any overpair (fearing here 10s and As, obviously) would have likely reraised that flop.
I don't see how you can lay it down (although I may be jaded with the benefit of hindsight). Again, the boat was likely already there, and you cannot really put anyone on a runner-runner flush.

Variance.
I don't think it matters much either way and I'd have to be there.
