Approximatly 2 weeks ago I began an experiment at some of the lower level tables. Namely the .05/.10 at Pstars. I have played approximatly 30 hours and have been able to turn a $2.45 per hour per table profit. This is approximatly 24 times the BB per hour. My question is how is this happening? 24X is much larger than the 1 BB an hour rule most pro's live by.
I believe the answer lies in the fact that the .5/.10 tables are just loaded with fish who consistantly bet hard with two pair. I always see $2 pots taken down by high card Ace and equally crappy hands. A set of anything regularly cleans house. Calling stations galore.
OK so I answered my own question. Please feel free to discuss.

1bb/100 is for limit.
5-10 big bets/100 or 10-20 big blinds/100 is sustainable for most at NL.

20 odd big blinds/100 at the micros isn't that special. It's definitely solid but it's not OMG.
I don't have poker tracker but I figure I average about $3/table/hour which works out to 24 big blinds/100 at NL25 (assuming 50 hands/table/hour).
Now if you could sustain that at 1000NL I would be impressed.

All I got to say is:
"Keep doing it and move up, when your bankroll is extra thick."

Hey, me too.
I've actually been running at ~~15BB/100 over my last 17k hands.
Although I must admit that I am unable to get anywhere near that winrate on the shark infested Party network!

I am really sad as I have averaged 46BB/100 over my last thousand or so £0.15/£0.25 hands at William Hill and I know it's got to end soon
(my overall BB/100 at this level is only about 11, fwiw, which I'm happy enough with at this early stage in my poker career)

1000 hands is nothing, I wouldnt even worry about it at this point.
That isnt enough to even start seeing trends

the 1 bb/hr cited for limit hold 'em applies mainly to medium/high limit tables. i usually average 5+ bb/hr at very low limit tables, both online and offline. of course table selection is key.
