Villain is 40/15/1 after ~30 hands

How my hand fares at the river? Good enough to shove for value? His turn small bet, call made me think he had something. He prob wont fold AA, AK, AJ, but then I split with KQ, QQ and lose to KK, AQ, KJ, KT, JT, TT

I poker stoved this range and I found it was close to a flip. Has it any sens? Does it mean less variance by check Calling, plus the chance to catch some miss draws?

I think I would c/c. If he shoves you are getting almost 2.5:1 and need to call and also have the J fh blocker but I don't see him calling with worse if you shove. Unless of course he's terrible and has AK, AA which he might as you mentioned.
