big stack villain is 17/14/10 after ~100 hands, shorty is 12/7/infty after 70 hands

Wasn't to glad to over shove wi QQ against UTG tight pfror, but I think I was intoxicated by hud stats. Then his flat call startles me and I was lost

$0.1/$0.25 No Limit Holdem
5 players
Converted at weaktight.com

Stacks:
UTG Mihalich86 ($25.98)
CO forValue ($27.40)
BTN llASll ($5.07)
SB bea1978 ($34.17)
BB Hero ($25.00)

Pre-flop: ($0.35, 5 players) Hero is BB
Mihalich86 raises to $0.80, 1 fold, llASll goes all-in $5.07, 1 fold, Hero raises to $11, Mihalich86 calls $10.20

Flop: ($27.17, 3 players)
Hero ?

noobie 2cents ahead...

1. You couldn't have been too intoxicated w/ HUD stats, or you'd have folded pre- after shortie's shove.
2. I'm assuming you 3-bet to isolate, but by doing so, you're implying you're willing to stack off pre- w/ QQ. Almost 1/2 your stacks in pre-... so I doubt you were folding if Mihalich 4-bet shoved.
3. Again... you've got almost 1/2 your stack in. My monies going in, and this flop doesn't bother me that much. AQ/AJ/ATs are all behind you... so is JJ/TT. You're behind AK and AA (which I think is less likely w/ PFR of 14... I think he would have shoved over you pre-) All that said, I'd open-shove to try and fold out what I'm ahead of before an A spikes... altho' I think odds are good you're going to SD with this one.

I have no interest in discussing strategy with a protege'. Your job is to remain quiet and listen. I have a very systematic approach that I will share with the right candidate and I promise that I will turn you into a force of nature and show you elements of the game of poker that you never knew existed.

What is the chance an A spikes on the turn? With only one PSB left why do you want to fold the hands you're currently ahead of?

Good point. I guess I'd go for the little extra safety net of some FE w/ two streets to go even if it is 7:1 against... esp with that much of my stack already in the middle. Bird in the hand (maybe...) and all you know...
