I just sat down so no read but CO's range is massive here. The straight card doesn't concern me too much. I'm still likely ahead and so would like to vb. He likely had a weak T or a flush draw so the question is bet size. How much? Other comments appreciated.

No-Limit Hold'em, $0.02 BB (8 handed) - Hold'em Manager Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

CO ($2.40)
Button ($2.68)
SB ($0.83)
Hero (BB) ($3)
UTG ($4.77)
UTG+1 ($1.76)
MP1 ($0.65)
MP2 ($2.94)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 10, 5
4 folds, CO calls $0.02, 1 fold, SB calls $0.01, Hero checks

Flop: ($0.06) 10, 5, 6 (3 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $0.04, CO calls $0.04, SB calls $0.04

Turn: ($0.18) J (3 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $0.14, CO calls $0.14, 1 fold

River: ($0.46) K (2 players)

Hero ???

I agree, you are likely ahead....but I bet $.38 - $.40 just to make it more inviting for a call. Like you said his range is huge so I try and open it up more for a call.
I confess in quicksand

No, a bet is clearly necessary. I bet 2/3rds pot and he folded.

As vinland suggested, I was attempting to hit more of his calling range. But reading the comments and some other concepts I've read, 2/3rds is probably not large enough here. His calling range is only so wide...half the time he's on a draw, so no chance to extract anything else anyway. If he's calling 2/3rds, he's probably calling a near-pot sized bet.

yeah this is a case of him calling half a pot with 75% of his cards or full pot with half of his holdings
or something like that

This, defo a bad spot to open fold imo, especially when there are only 2 hands in his range.

surviva316 will become famous soon enough
PSB every street, imo. you're like never going to like the board by the time you get to the river with T5 that hits two pair (just so happens this one stayed relatively safe)

I like a good sized bet. V's bad players they'll either call or fold whatever your amount unless its an overbet (dont underestimate the profit to be made from this). A good player might hero call incase you'd been semibluffing a straight draw and now betting big to pure bluff river.
Just playing to improve.

20c on the river. Maybe 25c.

My first thought was that the turn bet was too big, then I reconsidered when I saw how wet this board was.
