Had only been at table for about 5 minutes. I 3bet villians button raise first hand. He had been opening a lot but again, small sample. Basically I'm looking for the range you would stack off with here

Poker Stars $0.10/$0.25 No Limit Hold'em - 6 players

SB: $34.60
BB: $43.50
UTG: $18.25
Hero (MP): $26.00
CO: $23.55
BTN: $18.85

Pre Flop: ($0.35) Hero is MP with XX
1 fold, Hero raises to $1, 3 folds, BB raises to $3.50, Hero raises to $12, BB raises to $26, Hero calls $14 all in

I wouldn't 4bet so big, but QQ+/AK I guess. He's going to have a really tight range still.

The same range that I 4-bet to 48x with like omfg that's a huge 4-bet size. Oh wait kmind just said the same thing lol.

I have no interest in discussing strategy with a protege'. Your job is to remain quiet and listen. I have a very systematic approach that I will share with the right candidate and I promise that I will turn you into a force of nature and show you elements of the game of poker that you never knew existed.

I datamine tables so I have stats on the players
against an unknown I don't see why playing this IP post-flop could be bad

I flat a lot with AK here, is that wrong? My reasoning is that a NL25 player could be retarded enough to 3b with AQ/AJ/AT and if I 4b I'll usually be flipping with JJ/QQ

Sure, sometimes I'll get it in good against AQ. But how often is that compared to when I blow worse hands out? Plus, if he holds a hand that is a statistical favorite over mine like JJ it plays like ass post-flop, and I could actually take it away unimproved when he could possibly still stack off with it

3-betting AQ 6-handed is retarded?
Isn't this kind of situational. I 3-bet the crap out of KJ against some opponents.

So its total spew that I had TT here? I don't really know the dynamics of these games so maybe 3betting with air isnt as normal as I thought? Or do you flat IP despite knowing his range could include some garbage?

1. Whatever you've 4bet that's put half your stack in the middle... so obv your plan pre-4bet was to stack off if you got shoved on.
2. re: iopq... then call me retarded... 'cause I will def 3-bet AQo/AJo/KQs etc. from the blind vs. MP/LP open raise if I got a decent read that they're likely to fold to the 3bet or subsequent CB. I'm sure as shit not flatting AQo/AJo so I can play TP OOP for 3 streets. I'd do the same w/ AK. Obv if it's a vil who's hellbound to showdown, I'm not going to bloat w/ AK and will flat and hope to spike a top pair and maintain some kinda pot control.
3. Getting all-in pre- w/ TT based on this hand's line (esp his 5-bet shove...) seems really loose to me. Personally I'd flat the 3-bet IP and see the flop. Once you 4-bet you're pretty much committed anyhoo, and I'd rather have some history saying this guy 3bet light before I committed my stack w/TT.
