Default Fishing report for 4/3/04 from Commerce.

Put my name on the list at 3:50pm, got seated in five minutes and bought in for $100. Again, they had six no-limit tables open. Discovered four fish on the table and was up $175 in the first hour, but had to move to another table due to the "must move" rule on the table I was on. Ended up moving to a table full of rocks with only one fish moving with me from the original table. Once the fish realized he was "the sucker," he tightened up considerably. Couldn't do much for the next 45 minutes until some of the rocks left the table. Once the empty seats were locked up, I got to get my groove on again. Total profit: $250 in 3 hours, 15 minutes.

$250...enough to cover my airfare, hotel room and round of golf in Vegas next weekend. Anyone else interested? I'm getting in on Saturday and leaving on Monday. I'm staying at the Monte Carlo's (poker room.)

Record for no-limt play at Commerce thus far: 3 wins, 0 losses.

Session 1) +$70 in about two hours (I know, kinda slow, but this was my first time playing NL in a real casino. It took me a while to get used to the $25 pre-flop betting.)

Session 2) +$350 in 1-1/2 hours. See previous post about Commerce Lake.

    Session 3) +$250 in 3-1/4 hours.

    Jay,

You're on a roll. Too bad Tyson and I have been working so much or maybe we could have joined you.

hey I was there today as well! I left around 630. I ended down 200, no getting any playable cards or only getting them when someone has monster pockets.

Mike, I think you hit the nail on the head. I'm sure that's why I lose to so many more bad beats online than in a casino. It's too difficult for me to give "the evil eye" online. Losing to a bad beat in a no-limit casino game rarely happens (if you're betting correctly.)
