8/16 1/2 kill
Table is playing sorta sane and is up to the difficulty of an online .5/1 table.
UTG kills it and checks his option. Folded to me in the CO and I raise because calling sucks and I don't play like a sissy in kill pots. Semi-tight straight foward lady calls on the button (doh!), loose/retarded/lucky BB (with 2 racks or so left from his earlier heater) calls, Killer defends.
4 to the frop with $100 - $5 in the pot.
:As:
BB donks, Killer folds, I raise because somewhere in the rules it says the table nit is due respect on Ace flops, Lady thinks and folds something that might be an Ace, BB 3-bets DOH!, I call.
$167 in the pot
GIN!
BB bets, I raise because I got there, BB calls, score!
$263 in the pot.
Blank
BB checks, I bet, BB calls
"I got a nine"
*gasp* the peanut gallery is in shock I didn't have AK+ on the flop
BB slams AK on the table, gives me the look of death, re-arranges his less than a rack of chips left then diappears for an orbit or so to walk it off.
The table LAgg laughs and calls me sick.

After any player at a limit table wins a pot they receive the "kill" button. If the player with the "kill" button wins the next pot THE PRICE OF POKER IS GOING UP!! The blinds are either raised 50% or 100% and the Kill player has to autopost the BB ontop of the blinds posting as well.
I think that's how it goes, Fnord will correct my mistakes but Kill Pots are soooooooo much fun.
I've flopped top set twice in kill pots twice, makes up about 1/2 of my live winnings I presume.

Yeah, this game is a half kill. So it's 12/24 for this hand.

Pretty standard. Pre is a little loose, but from CO in a kill pot against a forced post, i'd take it every day.
Flop raise is standard, free card it baby. In my more aggro (read: when I was good) days, I might cap this flop online, jumping on the grenade for that free card...
You make me miss live LHE I wish had some 'semblance of a roll left.

Capping here is really silly.
Over-playing your hands and making money isn't playing good, it's running good.

you raise the flop because you think the BB has ace-rag and will fold? or? I would consider capping the flop in the games i am playing (online .25-.5 up to occasional 1-2), not doing so eliminates any chance of a free turn card, guess you got lucky with the nine. From then on I guess it played itself, nice to surprise the punters with 9-ten there!
