1-yep
2-meh
3-bet the turn? free showdown? its all pretty close.
4- I really don't like this fold. I call down and nod sadly when I am shown an eight or TJ. I don't see a normal person cold calling with an 8, TJ I guess is a possibility. 99? What do we think his cc range is? Maybe this is a fold.
5- I bet the flop and checkraise the turn. I don't think you are missing much trying to string the BB along on the turn though. I hate the river checkraise... not my style but it worked out. I am too afraid it gets checked through and you miss 2 bets.

To win in poker you only need to be one step ahead of your opponents. Two steps may be detrimental.

i figured he could have any pocket pair, but judging his flop action he coulda had even AA/KK/QQ...JT maybe, 98s possible. i didn't feel good calling. i felt i shoulda raised, but my gut told me not to.
anyways, had another horrific session today (500 hands at -13BB/100). over the last 1000 hands i'm running -7.5BB/100...which hurts...a lot! i wonder if this has anything to do with stars and their new VIP program.
anyways, more questionable hands.
SET 2
hand 1:
villain pretty solid. on the lag side preflop, but good post-flop.
PokerStars 5/10 Hold'em (5 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx
Preflop: Hero is Button with K , 8 .
2 folds, Hero raises, SB calls, 1 fold.
Flop: (5 SB) T , 7 , 4 (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets, SB raises, Hero 3-bets, SB caps, Hero calls.
Turn: (6.50 BB) Q (2 players)
SB bets, Hero calls.
River: (8.50 BB) J (2 players)
SB bets, Hero folds.
Final Pot: 9.50 BB
------------------------------
well, reviewing the hands again now, i don't see any questionable hands.....i made 2 or 3 pretty bad...like REAL bad plays which cost me probably 5 or 6 BB total.
WTSD = 33%
W$@SD = 36%
well i guess that explains it. bah, fuggin variance. think i'm gonna drop down limits and regain confidence.

Only 75 bets dude. I was down 70 at one point yesterday but it swings both way man. If you play enough hands, it will swing back the other way. Maybe if you put in more than 500 hands a day...
