having read a bit on here and other forums about omaha and having watched a few games, i've started to take a big interest in the game as it seems like its full of fish, more so than holdem is, so rather than just guessing that it is can anyone justify that omaha is lots of easy money with a solid BB/100 profit rate over atleast 20-30K hands?
and is that rate better than your holdem rate?

Way better. I have about 8bb/100 over 100k+ hands playing Pot Limit Omaha HiLo. Most likely lower profit playing Hi only.
There are more fish, but omaha is more forgiving. You are almost never putting most of your money at stake drawing dead, which is very possible in holdem. Omaha involves many many more swings so don't start playing unless you have plenty of money. Even plays some of my best cards I've gone on lossing streaks over 2000+ hands, only to win it back in less then 200.
