I am currently basking in the glow of a MTT Limit Tourney win. 1st out of 195. No one to brag to on-line so just a pat on the back to myself here.

congrats. What did you find difficult and do you think you could replicate it periodically? Also, what was the buyin and any important hands.

Buy in was a whopping $10. 195 entrants. You start with 1500, Blinds went up every 10 minutes (sorta too fast) with the normal Paradise Tourney blind structure... 10/20, 15/30, 25/50, 50/100, 75/150, 100/200, 100/200 (25 ante), 200/400 (50), 300/600 (50), 400/800 (50), 6/1.2(75), 1/2(100), 1.5/3(150), 2/4, etc.
Only difficult part is that u have to do well to start. By the time blinds are 50/100 a raise preflop to 200 is putting a big dent in what u started out with.
Because of that, people will hold on to A hi longer than they would in a cash game.
I'm trying to see if Paradise will send me the entire tourney history. All I have right now is a whole bunch of uninteresting heads-up hands.[/url]

They can't send me my tourney history.
Can it be replicated? Yeah. Did it take some luck? Of course. The guy who came in second was in last place at one point and miraculously came back. You had to be more aggressive about stealing blinds later in the tourney, but people were actually playing pretty tight at that point so it became easy.
I will be playing more.

Paradise takes a 9% cut. So really it was a like a $9.10 entry. 27.5% goes to winner 101-200 entrants. My take was somewhere around $480. Not a bad investment on $10 tho.

I posted it - need all the inflated ego I can get. Thought I was going to get a double post when I was in 6th out of 11 in the $30 R&A MTT later that day only to go all-in with JJ against a bigger stack with KK.
