I'd focus less on that and instead play your best and look for ways to improve.
I have a similar graph from playing SNGs...see my sig. That graph is the reason I came back to the land of limit, and I've been doing a lot better.
Look at your hands that you're losing a lot of money on. Did you play them correctly? If you can say you played them correctly, and still lost, it's ok. But try to find hands where you've made mistakes, and learn from them.
I make mistakes every day and that pisses me off more than any bad beat or short term downswing.

Sample sizes. Sample sizes. Dylan's July-August *might* be large enough to get a read on, but A'aag, you know yours isn't
5k hands is about a week.

Well your not going to be the only one whining over a weeks play.
I'm here to join you.
This week I decided that I want to learn to play Shorthanded so I jumped the 3/6 tables. After 2k I was down more than 150BB Ouch and now I'm still trying to catch up that last 50BB so I can get away from them red numbers in my database. (5K so far so no reason to be whining all that much though)
Quick one for Hyper and those who plays SH. How do you deal with the 60/30/3 guys..?
Espcially when I raise PF and don't connect.

I imagine when you have streaks like this, you almost begin to consider going back to work for the man...

And this is the most amazing facet of poker. Losing players can appear like winners and winning players can appear like losers.
If you ever wanna know the truth, it takes a lot of time and perseverance.

Precisely.
