i have 4h7d in BB. we are three way to limped flop.

flop is 3c9d4s. no one offers.
turn is Qh. no one steals.
river is Qd. i am first to act. one villain i dont know about. the last to act villain is a bit bluffy and overplays TPNK in a bad way.

i assume this is a very "thin value" situation, but value nonetheless. so, instinctively, i fire. i figure a 9 offers by now, and other pp's try and steal on the turn Q. so, basically, even my bluffy little friend has shit. so, i fire and hope for a call.

but, wouldnt it be better, superlicious to c/r the bluffing bastard. he may have fired at the orphan pot as last to act in a completely checked hand. i was so certain i was ahead that i think that was the play. anyone?

as it went, the villains folded, and i got nothing. it was not a big deal. but, the more i thought about it, i think i missed one, maybe two bets here. and, how sweet would it be to post that hand for bragging rights?
LHE is a game where your skill keeps you breakeven until you hit your rush of random BS.

Nothing beats flopping quads while dropping a duece!

KoRnholio will become famous soon enough
Check-call or bet out, but don't check-raise the river there. If he's on a bluff he will just fold after you raise and you win the same one bet. But if he was super slowplaying you'll lose an extra bet.

I think there is some value in betting, some people will get suspicious and call you with ace high. But if the last to act villain is bluffy, I think check-call is better to let him hang himself.
Some days it feels like I've been standing forever, waiting for the bank teller to return so I can cash in all these Sklansky Bucks.
