This guy was trying to be tricky all-night. He especially liked to overuse slowpay and check/raise. I can't say that I have seen a stupider slowplay than this....

And then he overplays the river????

Party Poker 10/20 Hold'em (6 max, 4 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is SB with 7, 6.
UTG calls, 1 fold, Hero completes, BB checks.

Flop: (3 SB) K, Q, 9 (3 players)
Hero checks, BB checks, UTG checks.

Turn: (1.50 BB) 5 (3 players)
Hero bets, BB calls, UTG calls.

River: (4.50 BB) 8 (3 players)
Hero bets, BB calls, UTG raises, Hero calls, BB folds.

Final Pot: 9.50 BB

Results in white below:
UTG has 9h Qh (two pair, queens and nines).
Hero has 7s 6s (flush, king high).
Outcome: Hero wins 9.50 BB.

I don't really think it was lack of aggression - even the most passive players would bet here. I mean it's not an agressive play to bet with two pair post-flop...

His problem was "fancy play syndrome' (I think that's what Carson calls it.) This guy was trying to be tricky/trappy all night, and he just didn't get a handle on the fact that most times he was giving free cards rather than trapping people to catch 2nd best hands and then drain them for more BB.

I mean, all he had to do was bet post-flop and I fold. Instead he gives me a flush draw and a reason to play on.

Well the fancy play as you said, caused a lack in aggression, therefore came back and bit him in the ass so therefore I can conclude that it was due to a lack of aggression...
