Raise that hand preflop and you might get rid of that naked ace.

raising UTG with KJs at the Party .5/1 tables wont get rid of very many people...

Nope, well this was in the first ten hands but from what I had sawn this was a VERY loose table and SB was the worst of them. Before he left I had him at 80% so I dinät think that would ahve worked but you right maybe I should have done that.

Still explain for me what going through his mind when he 3-bets the turn with no flush draw, and ace with a 5 kicker and a tainted gutshot draw? Oh well not whining just can't figure out if this was some kind of divine move that is too good for me to understand or just plain really really stupid..

maybe he thought he was "value-betting" his inside straight draw there.

He knew it was coming.
I play against psychic raisers all the time.
To win in poker you only need to be one step ahead of your opponents. Two steps may be detrimental.

I lost AQs 3 times yesterday to A2o raising preflop doesn't do shit at most tables of .5/1... Except build a pot…

ChezJ is an unknown quantity at this point
this same exact thing happened to me the other day. guy had a gutshot (i think it was a wheel too) and limped the flop, raised the turn, hit his 4-outer against all odds. if i didn't know any better i'd say he was cheating somehow.

Raise it for value. Worse hands will frequently call in that game. JTo will call a raise from UTG in that game many times.

In a tough game, always raising KJs from early position is a marginal play, IMO, since when you are called (or more likely three bet), you will almost always be behind (possibly dominated) and playing out of position. I think it is better to mix it up as the game gets tougher, and I typically vary my pattern depending on recent action.

Well whis wasn't a though game, the hands showned on the last 3 rounds before this was almost all High card Low card offsuit junk
Otherwise I wouldn't have raised KJS from EP.

But hey I made my money back just wanted to post this because I could get a grip on how he was thinking. Oh well have him tagged so I'll be seeing him soon again
