The Omaha games are AMAZING right now.

Got all the money into the pot with flopped straights at least 3 times last night. Lost every pot. Most of the money all-in with AAxx vs all-sorts-of-crap and lost all of those hands too. WHEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!

I hear experiementing with looser and more aggressive play goes a lot better when you can win pots playing for buy-ins...

Yeah, a lot of money comes from raising trash and having a fish flip his hand face up when he reraises pot. When the flop comes, (check-)raise all in if you can beat an overpair.
Some days it feels like I've been standing forever, waiting for the bank teller to return so I can cash in all these Sklansky Bucks.

Anyone compare Full Tilt vs Stars? I agree that people are way overplaying overpairs in 6max. I had one guy berate me for being "nit" and "go back to hold 'em" ... he subsequenltly bluffed off his stack. I have moved up to $50PL on FT, the play seems actually worse than $10 and $25, although there is much more raising pre-flop.

As for this hand... it's terrible play but almost meh. If it was he and you HU, would you call him with just AA (assume you have no 7, no draw).

if it were HU, the pot size would be a lot smaller and i would check and fold most of the time

if the pot size were the same I'd check and call most of the time

I've been experimenting with lagg play, and what I've found to be quite effective is min-raising with all hands I intend to limp. Pissed them off lots and doesn't lose me much equity unless I have a known limp raiser playing off a short stack. With full $400 stacks I'm happy to call a reraise when I've popped it to $8.
