The only royal flush I've gotten was at 1/2 cent. I'm jealous.

i love that turn raise in hand 1, even if it was a semi-bluff. It's almost like party rewarded you for having the balls to do it

you must have been nutting your pants in hand 2, I woulda had IKEA on speed dial ordering new furniture

edit: jesus jeff, 8 tabling 30-60?? what will you do with all the bling, buy a car?
take your ego out of the equation and judge the situation dispassionately

I see a lot of raising with turned draws in the 6-max 10/20+. Always nice to 3-bet and make them pay even more to draw >.<;

Is it really EV+ to raise (check-raise even, aka valuebet) that turn in hand 1, if the op will call you down w/ a pair of 6s? With an 18outer you have about 40% to take it down and there seems to be no fold EQ. Bad read?

Hand 2 I would at least bet the river and call a raise. Were you afraid of 98s? I don't think I'd be worried about QQ unless CO was very passive.

H1: I was getting 40% to draw out on him, and pot odds I was getting 25% for the check/raise semi-bluff to work. My line screams AK and any normal opponent is folding anything other than a J or K here. Check/raise semibluff is a good move most of the time, but if you get three bet or called you have to suck out. So, the 75% he does call or raise, I have a 40% chance of wining. That means i'm a 2-1 favorite on the turn to win the hand by running this line, whereas by check/caling i'm only going to win 40%.

H2: I put him on a bigger boat. I see the turn and my line screams boat and so did his, 9T is normally capping this turn here, I truly believe given this action, he flips 97 or 9Q. more times than not. I was thinking about betting this river, but he's likely to raise with a higher boat and quite possibly the 9s, and I'd never fold this hand.
