Just out of interest, as I'm new to FTR, where does everyone play? How would you rate your Poker Room's skill level? And do you ever come up against other FTR members?
I mostly play Pacific, though sometimes Planet.
Pacific seems to be a real mixed bag of skill levels. Most tables I sit down at, playing 25c/50c, there are one or two great players. Playing very tight aggressive poker. A scattering of fairly decent players, who are semi-loose, seeing 30-35% of the flops. And then a few really loose players. Seeing anywhere between 50 and 80% of flops. Calling all the way to showdown on flops that you'd run a mile from.
As far as I know, I've never played on a table with anyone from FTR.

Never ran into anyone from FTR, that I know of.
There have been FTR low-stakes games at Party from time to time, but I always have a scheduling conflict...
I play Party and Empire, for no other reason than they're the only sites with graphics I can bear to look at. My vision is around 20/50, and most other sites don't cut it for me. The ovoid tables and different colored avatars make a hand easy to follow, and the fairly large, simple card faces make for a pleasant game. Also, the resizeable tables at Empire and Party make multitabling on a 17" monitor pretty easy.
The games, even down to .50/$1, are fairly tough. Lots of isoraising, blind steals, tricky plays. We had a thread on this kind of thing a few days ago... some useful stuff there.

Pacific is a good site to start at the low limits. Very fishy. But not insane maniac play (expect at 5/10 cent). Good FR games with 40-50% players per flop and often higher all the way up through 3/6.
There are typically not a lot of FR tables at a given limit, but if I remember correctly, you are fairly new and are playing pretty low limits. So, I wouldn't worry about mult-tabling... so you shouldn't have much of a problem at pacific.
I would sick with Pacific for a while!
I actually love the simplistic style of Pacifics graphics. I find Party and other a bit too busy for me.

I play $1/2 on the Cryptologic network (I play just about every one of their skins).
Don't know about the skill level. It's like ' ' this much better than me because I'm leaking money there. So if you can find a table with one of my aliases on it... it's probably a good table.
I'm also playing on Party's $0.50/$1 until I clear this months bonus. Which is stupid, because obviously it's easier to collect raked hands on NL tables there...

Was at Party, but now, I guess I am one of the few at Stars, and also WPEX on the weekends. 2/4 to 3/6 6 max and FR depending upon where the fish are schooling.

I'm at stars, I've probably played with you. How is wpex? too rocky? does it even matter with no rake?

There's a bonus this month? Sheesh... Was it offered via email?

I think all party bonuses are personal and sent by email these days.

I play at Pokerroom and Skins. Also have played at Party and Stars. I have had the best luck at PR, but a lot of FTR members aren't crazy about it. Software is a little finicky at times, and every time they upgrade the server they have problems for a couple of days.
Still, the play there is pretty horrible and there is money to be made. $50 and $100 vary between rocky and loose. Weekends are as loose as anywhere else I play.
I do run into FTR members there and have played with them. I run into djzcko regularly, I play with deadgoat a lot, sat with swiggidy the other night, just to name a few. I have played with a lot more, too.....don't have time to list them all.

Without giving away my SN at Stars, you would definitely know it when you see it.
WPEX is better at each level than most sites, but the games get softer during sporting events because of people betting on the games. The benefit of no rake is learning to play against better competition than you are used to, but still ending at the same spot or better with your Bankroll. For example, if you are a $.5/1 player, you should have the same results as your other sites, but you will improve playing against better competition.

I play at Paradise. I've never seen a reason to change because the players suck. Limit, I only play the 5-max tables, and according to my pokertracker stats, less than 10% play a reasonably good range of vpip and pfr. I've only seen about 5 or 6 players I would say are good, and one of those was Hypermegachi, the only FTR player I am aware of playing against. No info on the FR limit games, because that's not where the money is at. I've been playing probably 90% NL tournaments now. Everything from HU to 5 max SNG to multi-table turbo SNG to R&As. I had my first MTT win this week at a 50-max $10. Currently trying to decide if HU tourneys are worth it.
