When do I slow down and just call here?

Both Button and MP2 are loose, Button is quite aggressive and mp2 more of a calling station

Party Poker 1/2 Hold'em (10 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is SB with A, A. MP2 posts a blind of $1.
2 folds, UTG+2 calls, 1 fold, MP2 (poster) checks, MP3 calls, 1 fold, Button raises, Hero 3-bets, 1 fold, UTG+2 calls, MP2 calls, MP3 calls, Button calls.

Flop: (16 SB) K, 2, 3 (5 players)
Hero checks, UTG+2 checks, MP2 bets, MP3 calls, Button raises, Hero 3-bets, UTG+2 folds, MP2 calls, MP3 calls, Button caps, Hero calls, MP2 calls, MP3 calls.

Turn: (16 BB) 4 (4 players)
Hero bets, MP2 calls, MP3 folds, Button raises, Hero 3-bets, MP2 calls, Button caps, Hero calls, MP2 calls.

River: (28 BB) 9 (3 players)
Hero checks, MP2 checks, Button bets, Hero calls, MP2 calls.

Final Pot: 31 BB

Results in white below:
Hero has Ah Ad (one pair, aces).
MP2 has Th Ks (one pair, kings).
Button doesn't show.
Outcome: Hero wins 31 BB.

Should I have not 3bet the turn and then check call the river?

Another question, is his raise with 22 on the button with only 3 people in overly aggressive?

you missed value bets/raises on the river.

think about the hand for a moment....is this player smart enough to conceal his KK strength preflop? most aren't. you are WAY ahead of anyone here.

the flop has didn't hit anyone with a clue.

the runner runner flush didn't help anyone either. about the only *logical* hand they could have is AK, which the AKs is the only hand that will bail them out on the river.

and i'm confused about the 22...what 22?

Sorry I guess the hand history didn't carry over the results correctly. The Button had pocket 2's and flopped his set. He raised the 2's on the button with 3 people in.

I wasn't worried about MP2, he was a calling station and I was almost certain he just had a pair of K's or was on a draw (I was right). My question is, with the button capping on both the flop and turn and with MP2 calling, at what point do I slow down with my Aces? Even the worst players realize they might be beat if they get raised PF, Flop and the turn *UNLESS* they have a real strong hand, in this case a set. HU I bet out on the river and call if he raises.

Another point, he just called the preflop 3bet and then capped the flop and the turn. It was pretty obvious that the flop hit him pretty good.

the problem with what he did, was it fooled you. there was no logical hand he could have you didn't already beat. i don't see how you could of played it otherwise.

So are you saying I should have bet out/raised on the river? I think he checked because he feared the flush card.

Quoi? This is getting more confusing. How do you figure AKs can bail someone out? Those diamonds are gone.

LOL! What is goin ON here? When did he check? The guy with the set didn't check (or call) once

BTW I personally would bet-call the turn. If no diamond came, I'd bet again, but a diamond came so I'd have check-called.
