i have just started playing properly and started keeping track of my bankroll. i decided to start off at the bottom at $o.oo1-o.o2 blinds and buyin in for 2$ a go.

how much should my bankroll be before i move up to $oo.5-oo.10 blinds where i plan to buy in for $4?

Is this the right amount to buyin for?

And if i loose in my 1st session at the higher stakes should i move back down straight away or give it some time and if so how many sessions?

oh and on a different note do pokerstars offer rake back?

players per flop against avg pot size which is more important?

poker stars has the FPP program, no rake back

I'd recommend 50 BIs to move up, then move back down if you drop to 35 for that level.

Whether or not to short stack depends on your goals and what games you are playing in.

I guess it's different for everyone, but if you are killing your stake might as well try the next. I decided I wanted 50 BI for the lower level (i.e. $1250 for 25PLO) so I have 5BI "cushion" to play some 50PLO, with ample table selection, etc. I can always go play more 25PLO when necessary.

At least at 50PLO there are still tons of horrible players, then just get more aggressive at each stake.
