Ya so I'm a limit noob who plays 5/10 every once in awhile. At what point do you lay this one down? The donkeys kept on juicing the pot with a lone Q or worse.

Get as many bets as you can in on the flop, I call down after the K hits on the turn.

Preflop would depend on the stats of both UTG players.

Why no flop 3bet?? You have a licence to print money.

And what's with UTG's cap, c/r.

The pre-flop 3-bet is okay if you have a read on UTG and UTG+1.

Keep pounding on the flop. You are missing out on value by trying to slowplay this one.

I think calling down the turn and river is okay. And Q might cap this turn, and a set might also.

i think you played the hand poorly...

i think i still raise the turn... you have to put pressure on someone that hit a BD FD or something... i also think i raise it on the flop once 3 or 4 people with 2 bets in you have the nuts RAM IT... they are not folding after they put in 2 bets and the pot is already so large i just ram and jam my nut hand...

I called the flop raise with the intention of raising the turn because I knew he would lead into me. It was a rainbow flop so I wasn't too afraid of any flushes hitting. Next time however, I will jam the flop and call down like you say.

As far as raising the turn goes I think that's just bad, its clear that this is either a split/lose pot and I want a cheap showdown that I'm not getting allowed by the opponents here which is why I was questioning the call down.

Here's what was mucked. Strange that all 4 queens were out there.

Seat 1: bigmike5253 (big blind) mucked [9h Qh]
Seat 2: Custom02 showed [Qc Ah] and won ($359) with a straight, Ten to Ace
Seat 3: HeavensTouch mucked [6d Qd]
Seat 4: NotThatPhil folded before Flop (didn't bet)
Seat 5: andr3w321 (button) mucked [Qs Kh]
Seat 6: fold_foo (small blind) folded before Flop

i definately raise on flop and the turn. most people will just end up calling with something stupid like midpair tryign to catch a two pair or a gutsh0t, if not they will scare some passive people that are drawing so they;'ll fold. aggression is key, selective aggression. and i think the flop and turn are good spots to pop in the raises.
