Backdoor flush draw? I don't get how they call my re-raise, but they won't call a 2 dollar bet? And the RFcombs guy was hyper aggressive, so as soon as I caught my straight I knew he was mine :P

Probably somebody else had a 9 and the other guy had KQ or something like that....The better question is how can you cold call a raise in bad position with 79s??

Cold run of cards, felt something special about this hand.. 2 dollars didn't feel to hefty.
Makes sense about the other flush draws, didn't even think of that - but after 20 or so runs without even hitting a pair, I guess I was too excited about the straight to realize it wasn't even the nut

Your pre-flop play is extremely bad.

They were probably thinking along the same lines on the flop and turn...

Superb play sir...I always call 20% of my stack off with a gutshot draw. Excuse me while I race for my wallet.

Also I don't know why you are concerned with their play when your play is worse then theirs...

Also, along with what everyone else has said...
Raise flop if this guy is really as aggressive as you say. You want to get as many bets in as possible before he realizes he's not going to make any kind of hand. If he's the generically stupid type of aggressive 6-max player, he'll probably call or even 3-bet a flop raise with overs, and will probably lead into you on the turn as well.

Didn't even notice it was 6 max. Yet another reason not to play that trash for 2 bets...
