B&M $4-$8.

Hand 1: Hero is Qc-Qd in the button

Preflop:
MP1 calls, Mp2 calls, CO calls, Hero raises, SB calls, BB calls, Mp1 calls, Mp2 calls, CO calls

Flop: 5d-6h-8h

Mp2 bets, CO raises, Hero 3 bets, SB caps, Mp2 calls, CO calls, Hero calls.

Turn: 5d-6h-8h-9c
Mp2 bets, Hero calls, SB calls

River: 5d-6h-8h-9c-6s
Mp2 bets (all in for 2$), Hero calls, SB calls.

MP2 shows 7d-10s for nut straight
Sb mucks.

The pot was too big for me to fold right ? even on the turn, i saw that MP2 had few chips and was going all the way i felt. If Sb had raised the turn or the river, i fold for the extra bet though.

Hand 2: Hero is Ah-Qh in CO UTG+1 is a decent player.

Preflop: UTG calls, utg+1 raises, MP1 calls, MP2 calls, Hero 3-bets, UTG calls, UTG+1 caps, MP1 calls, MP2 calls, Hero calls, UTG calls

Flop: Qc-6c-8d
Hero checks, UTG+1 raises, Hero 3-bets, UTG+1 caps.

Turn: Qc-6c-8d-6h
UTG+1 bets, hero calls

Turn: Qc-6c-8d-6h-2d
UTG+1 bets, hero calls

UTG+1 has AA.

after capping on preflop and check raising and capping on flop I did put UTG+1 in AA or KK. Do i have any business calling down though. I have seen players play like that with AKs or whatever. The pot was too big for me to fold right ??

Hand 1:
Something is strange about this hand. SB, check/caps the flop and then check/calls all the way down from there??? I’d guess he flopped two pair/set and is calling down in fear of the obvious straight. Personally, I never give “all-ins” much credit and I would have raised the turn to see what the SB does- maybe you can build a little side pot if he’s only holding A8 or something he thought was good on the flop.

This is a pretty wild pot, anyone else drop it after the SB check/caps the flop?

Hand 2:
I think a lot of people run, the check/raise/fold to a 3-bet line on that turn. So with your read, I would have let that go when he 3-bets your check-raise.

Yes. When SB mucked she looked frustrated. maybe a heart draw.

BTW, SB in hand 1 is the UTG+1 in hand 2. had a seat change

You think check call is spewing chips in hand 2. I have seen people get aggro in 4-8 overbetting AK. but i had that nagging feeling telling me villain had AA this time right when the check-raise-cap happened. the pot seemed TOO big.

Don't show results.
Don't title your post "when do I fold?"
Proofread your hands so that people don't think you checkraised in hand 2.
If you fold too much people WILL take shots at you. Especially when you fold for 1 bet in a big pot.
To win in poker you only need to be one step ahead of your opponents. Two steps may be detrimental.
