The ability to not make mistakes on a consistent basis.
btw, on a personal note, I thought you were going pro? I've seen posts by you from all round the forum, playing plo etc. If you want to start making money, find a game and start grinding it. gl

Not tilting when your set of aces loses to a runner runner flush when your opponent was only drawing to a backdoor flush draw on the flop. Shit like that that you will have to numb the pain to and then you can be an extremely good on, as you don't worry about losing a hand or a river check/raise. You can also make some super thin raises without care.
Experience as well is a major thing, as no matter how many books you've read or studying, there's nothing as good as the real thing.

Also, you have to play a lot. You can be the best player in the world and earn crap for money playing one hour a month, or you could be mediocre and earn thousands.

A player that can beat any game. Not just the loosey goosey 1/2 tables, but the rocks at the higher limits. That's the real challenge.
Tilt is obvious, but as a limit player, you should really get over that pretty quickly.

A player that's very good to extract the most value in different situation - always makes that important raise, never missing that important value bet, etc.

A good player doesn't play in tough games... he destroys the easier ones for more profit. That's good META GAME.

What about when to start playing at game limits where there really aren't any weak players. I mean i would assume every one playing at 100/200 and up is a strong player.
