6Max .25/50 game
First hand
No reads--still early

Dealt to hero(D) 89o

1 fold, MP calls, 1 fold, Hero calls, SB folds, BB checks

Flop(3.5SB): Jh10h5d

MP bets, Hero calls, BB folds

Turn(2.75BB): Qc

MP bets, Hero raises, MP 3bets, Hero calls

River(8.75BB): 6c

MP bets, Hero calls

Final Pot (10.75BB)

Is this a bad smooth call, I cannot raise the end can I?

Hand 2(6 handed)
Same table very loose passive all players

Hero is SB 47h

3 calls, 1 fold, Hero completes, BB checks

Flop(5SB): 3d5h6s

Hero bets, UTG raies, MP1 calls, 2 folds, Hero calls

Turn(5.5BB): Ad
Hero bets, UTG raises, MP1 calls, Hero 3bets, UTG caps, MP1 calls

**side note, put UTG on a set here, no way he can have my hand

River(17.5BB): Qd
Hero bets, UTG raises, MP1 calls, Hero calls

I do not know why the third diamond scared me, especially since I had him on a set, I wussed out I guess.

Hand 3
Hero is UTG with KsKd

Hero raises, CO 3bets, BB calls, Hero caps, CO calls, BB calls

Flop(12.5 SB): 245rainbow
Hero checks, UTG checks, BB checks
**F%$k G_d Fu%$#ing damnit Im a pussy

Turn(6.25BB): 3d
Hero checks, CO checks, BB bets, hero folds, CO calls

River(8.25BB): 6c

Alright, the river doesnt matter here, what matters is why I check that flop, why did I do it? I have no frickin idea why. I guess I thought the CO would lead if I checked and I could raise here. Turns out they both had a weak ace, like A10 vs A6. Guess I should be happy they were willing to cap and call caps PF with those 2 hands.

Anyways, an update on my new adventures into .25/50 6max. I am up, I am running OK, and I think Im playing OK. Played 400 hands in my first attempt tonight, won just over 9BB. 2.25/100 not so bad right?

Thanks for all the help guys, it's really appreciated.

1: preflop is a bit iffy. Cap the turn and just call if he leads the river.

2: keep hammering it

3: as a rule of thumb, don't ever cap preflop and check the flop

First hand only K9 beats you, but as he bet the flop its unprobable. AK is unprobable (no raise pref), so maybe 2 pair or set of 5s. Cap it and raise the river
