First family pot we had taken on this table. When I hit top set I did not want to run anyone out so we could pump the pot up a bit. I did think that THEMEGLADON may have flopped a straight as he was a fairly tight player but was not yet ready to pop it and get that info. You ever get the feeling that the board is going to pair and strengthen your hand? I did (although that really should not have factored into the play). I put Legend on a A-midkicker.

Was the attempt to keep these guys in and build a pot worth the risk or should I have been popping it all along and isolate to 2 players and have less risk but also less reward?

Another flopped set hand from today (although less reason for people to draw in this one) and how playing it more straight forward made a difference.

Hand 1: you've got to raise the turnhere and give them an opportunity to hang themselves.

hand 2: nothing you can do, really.

Agreed.
Some days it feels like I've been standing forever, waiting for the bank teller to return so I can cash in all these Sklansky Bucks.
