No solution to this one, sorry. Guy was pretty much L/P, so I figured he had AA/KK/JJ/TT. I guess he could have had QQ and I threw away a split...

You still had top pair and a gutshot straight draw. His pre-flop betting tells me he didn't hit any straight on the flop. I would have bet the flop and then slowed down and check/called his re-raise and through to the river.

If you had a read on him you were probably beat but I can't see throwing that hand away especially with the board as it was.

Gutshot, duh. Check/call the turn, fold on anything but a Q/9 on river.

if this was a tight aggressive player, the only hand he would reraise preflop with you is AA or KK, and maybe AKs...AK, AQ, AJ would be calling hands, or if loose aggressive he would reraise with those.

given his aggression on the flop, AA or KK would be more likely. being heads up, i doubt they would be that aggressive with AK/AQ especially after missing it completely.

i agree with jmrogers7 that after the flop like that i would go into check call mode. you have a strong hand, gutshot to the second nuts, with 2 more outs for a set of queens.

it all depends on the player i guess. i've played ppl who capped preflop with JTs.
