i want to open a discussion about aggressive tables...

i sat on a couple of very violent tables yesterday, and dont think i made the correct adjustments. these were 6max tables.

it seemed everything i would consider overlimping with in 4 handed pots (44, 78s, J9s, etc) were getting raised out because i could never tell if i would get the odds/payoff i needed to make them profitable.

two players were raising and 3betting pf and flops with utter crap, and i was caught in the middle. i never caught a hand i could get in there with, imo.

so, when this happens to you, WHEN do you leave? its a profitable situation i'm sure, but high variance to say the least.

HOW much do you loosen up hand requirements? 3betting requirements?

any tips?
LHE is a game where your skill keeps you breakeven until you hit your rush of random BS.

Nothing beats flopping quads while dropping a duece!

When the table is loose aggressive, become tight aggressive. When the table becomes tight, loosen up your game.

I love playing on tables like this! You've got to be more patient, but you can push your strong hands on every street with these players and they'll keep coming over the top of you. Using their aggression against them is easy money though (until they adjust to you).

1) preflop: tighten up a little
2) flop: go nuclear ballistic with anything that has some equity
3) turn: overplay (a little) made hands (for ex. b3b TPTK-ish hands)
4) river: play reasonable - from my experience this is where they usually get their sanity back; induce bluffs alot; do not assume every c/r is a bluff; insist on showdown

(variance will go up for sure)

5) Profit
