when he bet into you on the turn, gulp. Havent looked at the results but I guess he had you outkicked. I would still raise the river though.
I find myself dominated a lot of times when I raise with semi-junk in these situations. The times I steal make up for it but sometimes I wonder.

pretty common situation on the turn there. EP bets the flop, you raise, and he slowly calls, as if to say WTF? then the turn comes and he fires again!? it can only mean one thing... 2 pair.
time to count your "hidden" outs and/or make a tough laydown.

I'm curious about the thinking behind the PFR. Were you trying to take it then since there was just one caller? Limit the field?
I'm probably going to be swarming this forum with questions over the next week or so as I try to build my understanding of LHE in preparation for an upcoming casino adventure. Just a warning before I get annoying

Yeah, I have a playable hand and position on one really bad limper. However, when the blinds are really loose, this play loses value.

I dont mind your play here. Sometimes these guys are thick headed and will bet into you with anything. You're river counterfeits a two pair as long as he doesnt have the K.
I'd say you won the pot.

I like the raising the river with hands I can safely fold to a 3 bet. If you are 3 bet here, your going to call. I have found that I extract the most out of bad players because they never fold for one more on the river. This hand is iffy, I think you are outkicked enough times (with the way the hand played) that this is a dangerous raise. What won anyway?

THe best hand he has is a J7, in which case he got rivered.
He doesn't have a king with a higher kicker because he called the flop and bet out on the turn.

To win in poker you only need to be one step ahead of your opponents. Two steps may be detrimental.
