CO is a decent reg, BTN isn't too fishy
should i c/r river? my reasoning in betting is flush (there is one out there for sure) may put in a raise, whoever has it, and i 3bet. As it turns out, it is worth mentioning CO went for overcall on river with the nut flush, a very good solid play by him.

2/4 Limit Holdem
6 players
Converted at weaktight.com

Stacks:
UTG ($88.00)
UTG 1 ($119.75)
CO ($98.85)
BTN ($56.50)
Hero ($141.00)
BB ($299.50)

Pre-flop: (1.5 SB, 6 players) Hero is SB
2 folds, CO raises, BTN calls, Hero calls, BB calls

Flop: (8.0 SB, 4 players)
Hero checks, BB checks, CO bets, BTN raises, Hero 3-bets, BB folds, CO 4-bets, BTN calls, Hero calls

Turn: (10.0 BB, 3 players)
Hero bets, CO calls, BTN calls

River: (13.0 BB, 3 players)
Hero bets, CO calls, BTN calls

Final Pot: 16.0 BB

I'm inclined to try for a c/r on the turn. Pretty sure at least one of these guys has an Ace and if you check they will bet it unless they're very cautious.

As played, I think the same principle applies on the river. Check it and someone will think his Ax is good. Then you can pop him.

I dont play much LHE anymore, how close is PF?

I think showing any action after the flop completely skews your response-results.

set value. Just need 2.5BB to go in postflop in a raised multiway pot to make it worth it. Not counting BB completing, which makes it even better. I will also have a pretty good relative position postflop.

i thought to c/r turn, too. but, draws may take the free card...which is why i assume you led.

i can see this going either way, tho. i would think villains are likely to take over when you check with flushes. but, i also see smarter players checking behind that paired 3 even though its a heart.

when i get put in this spot, i just take the lead and hope for a raise. if i think there's a chance they will check behind, i just get what i can and hope for the best.

for me betting the turn is a no-brainer at these stakes. Ppl seem to check behind a lot when that kind of board appears.

Still, in this case, CO is a good enough player (by what i've seen), so lower stakes reads may not be good against him.
The fact is, that turn kills action a lot, and many rivers, may even kill it further or split the pot, so i suppose we want to push turn and not risk even a slight chance that it gets checked through?

if you hold AT, are you really worried about a 4? or do you bet and reevaluate when raised?

i cant see us giving blind credit to a wheel here in a raised pot that capped the flop. does A4 play that aggressively?

If I have a good Ace here I'm not afraid of 4x after the flop action. But maybe these guys don't think that way.

Turn lead is fine really, it depends on your opponents.
