Never sure what to do here most of the time.

I raise preflop

Hit TPTK on flop. bet

Checked to me on turn. I bet.

River brings a 3 flush board or fills in a str8 draw.

but its checked to me. BET??

I usually bet figuring opp would lead if hit his draw and just pay off the few times they check raise with the goods.

I have heard NOT to value bet river as only better hands call?? TRUE?

Thanks in advance.
Why is it a penny for your thoughts but
you have to put your 2 cents in??

Somebody's making a penny!!

Not betting here would be criminal. It is tough tho when running bad and you think every scare card has beat you, but you still have to bet.

While bet/folding may be the better move technically, it is so horrible for your image I usually don't do it.

v a 3 flush I'll typically bet. What does "fills in a str8 draw" mean? If 3 in sequence I'll typically bet.
