Call, unfortunately. His turn raise could well have been a semibluff with KQs.

I am interested in whether its better to C/R the flop this hand, vs. betting out? Did you think of slowplaying your set at all, even w/a flush draw on the board?

regardin a checkraise on the flop I have these thoughts to share:
Villian raises from the button on a steal, meaning that he will hold an ace a lot of times here as most players steal with A4o+ or even A2o+.
Hero makes it 3 and thus he has the initiative. Betting out here is the play as this is what you would do without an ace aswell, and thus it looks a lot less wierd compared with a checkraise.
Basically ask yourself wich other hands you checkraise here.?
To original poster: river is a call, as you are risking two to win one here.

Check-raising the flop is totally out of the question, in my opinion. The way to win the maximum is to play this hand straightforward and fast.
Plus, a flop check looks totally suspicious as I would bet here with K-T offsuit.

FYP
In blind situations, OOP, the best is usually the most straight forward as possible. Unless you're up against good opponents, anything other than the default line with many hands is just going to lose you money in the long run.

Yeah, that was the suggestion. I would bet here 100% of the time regardless of holdings.
