Kill games are designed purposely to punish bad players. The point is, since the major mistake in poker is playing too many hands and going too far with them, bad players tend to win more pots. (not more money, just a higher percentage of pots) By forcing a player to post an extra blind each time they win two hands in a row, you are effectively minimizing the amount won by these players. Then, not only does a portion of their winnings go into a blind, but since they are invested in the "kill pot" they will most likely go too far when the bets are double also, losing another large portion of the pot they just won.
So, yes. Any Kill game benefits tight, agressive play.
To win in poker you only need to be one step ahead of your opponents. Two steps may be detrimental.
