Hand converter on the fritz again.
Am trying out $2/4. What do you make of this? The turn re-raise?
Opp is on the dodgy side of LAGGy I'd say.
Crypto $2/4
Hero is BB with K J
UTG calls, 2 fold, SB calls, Hero raises, UTG calls, SB calls.
Flop: 5 J 6 (3 players, 6 sb)
SB checks, Hero bets, UTG calls, SB folds.
Turn: 6 (2 players, 4bb)
Hero bets, UTG raises, Hero calls
River: 5 (2 players, 8bb)
Hero checks, UTG bets, Hero calls.

it's debatable whether KJo is raisable out of the BB with 2 limpers. I play a bit of a laggy style and I like to check hands like these in the BB to add some deception to my hand. However, Im sure from the title of your post you're looking for help on the postflop play.
The turn is tricky, typically I would lay this down here unless I had a good solid read on opponent. Most players raising the turn have either nada, or a pretty big hand. Im always almost tempted to check a turn when I have TPGK and the middle card on the flop pairs on the turn. If you feel your hand is strong enough to go to showdown then you could go into c/call mode. It's tough in 6max when the board pairs b/c players typically will not fold many pairs, meaning that when the board pairs they just drew out. Anyways, hope this sheds a little light on this situation.

I think calling here is -EV at 2/4 as people don't bluff enough and calling this down is a big leak of mine.

I call this down after the turn raise since I don't expect UTG to have a 5 or 6. A check/call line against a LAG would work as well.

Villain had a 5, so very much lucked out on the river there.
It seems a point likely to induce a bluff.
There's every chance that if I call I'm going to check the river allowing him to check behind and take the showdown just as if he'd called me down to see if his bottom pair was good, just now he has some fold equity.
The best defence here would be to 3-bet the turn, I'm not sure I could though. (And in this case he would still have sucked out).

Oh yes, the type of player who assumes you hold AK or the like and raise you with any pair on the turn. I just saw one yesterday.
Take a note of him and 3-bet the turn next time.
