Hi all,
Thanks for the responses to the last post. (I also got a lot out of the other threads - I hope.)
I would be grateful for comments about how to pay this on each street.

Preflop I like. On the flop I can't imagine you being ahead, you don't have much fold equity, and you're drawing to a 2-outer, so what does a raise accomplish? I just call because there's 16.4SB in the pot. With implied odds you've probably got what you need to hit your set on the turn. But it's really close, and I wouldn't complain about folding the flop either. Check/fold UI after that.

Fold the Flop. Button 3 bet cold called you preflop, you are definitely behind on the flop with two overs, there are two cards to a flush on the board already of a suit you don't have, and your 2 outs are tained because it could either make a flush or a straight.

Ltrain is right. I didn't see how coordinated the board was. Even if you hit you have a good chance of being behind. (And you could even be up against a slow-played set of jacks or aces). Just fold this.

Fold on the flop--it's clear cut, for reasons given by other posters. Also, regardless of what comes on the flop you need to approach that round cautiously. The button 3-bet preflop (not a bet you wanted to hear), something many players will only do in that situation with AKs, AA, KK, and QQ. While some players do have a wider range, there's a good chance you are way behind, and are drawing to at most 2-outs regardless of the flop. Once the Ace does appear on the flop, you are almost certainly drawing, at best, to two outs.

Is so, so, so much more valuable than you think it is.

Except I should read the hand more carefully. He actually means BIG BLIND, not button.
