I stayed to the river on this hand because I was being the aggressor with top pair, then a gut shot straight and flush draw. Was there anything I could've done? I didn't put MP2 on a Jack... I was right about that

Party Poker 0.5/1 Hold'em (8 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is SB with Q, T.
1 fold, UTG+1 calls, 1 fold, MP2 calls, CO raises, 1 fold, Hero calls, BB calls, UTG+1 calls, MP2 calls.

Flop: (10 SB) 9, 7, T (5 players)
Hero bets, BB raises, UTG+1 calls, MP2 calls, CO folds, Hero calls.

Turn: (9 BB) K (4 players)
Hero bets, BB calls, UTG+1 folds, MP2 calls.

River: (12 BB) Q (3 players)
Hero bets, BB calls, MP2 raises, Hero calls, BB folds.

Final Pot: 17 BB

Results in white below:
MP2 has 2s 8s (flush, king high).
Hero has Qs Th (two pair, queens and tens).
Outcome: MP2 wins 17 BB.

I highly doubt you were going to get the 4flush to fold.

I meant getting 28s to fold preflop to avoid the 4-to-a-flush situation. I know he wouldn't be pushed out at the flop, much like I wouldn't be pushed out at the turn

with those 2 poop cards you either have to fold to the raise or 3 bet. I would favor the fold.

You were a victim of the "well I already called one, I might as well call 2"

I remember specifically at this B&M I was the BB with AA and seven people called, I raised, and everyone called the raise. One of the disadvantages to being last to act. If I was UTG there would have been less people in the hand. Of course someone sucked out the straight on the river. It happens and it sucks.

anyways you need to fold preflop to the raise.

the flop i think you should 3bet. betting the turn is fine also, as you've just picked up a strong second nut draw.

check/call is probably the best on the river. you will only be beat when you are raised. the river brings the 4th straight card.
