I got myself trapped in this hand and know I played it horribly and looking for advice on how to play it properly. Do I fold preflop? Get aggressive post flop? Fold on the turn rather than risk the 3 bet or say F@#! it and encourage a cap, myself?

Opinions appreciated.

Party Poker 1/2 Hold'em (10 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx

Preflop: Hero is MP2 with Q, T.
3 folds, MP1 calls, Hero calls, 3 folds, SB raises, 1 fold, MP1 calls, Hero calls.

Flop: (7 SB) 4, 5, 7 (3 players)
SB bets, MP1 raises, Hero calls, SB 3-bets, MP1 calls, Hero calls.

Turn: (8 BB) 2 (3 players)
SB bets, MP1 calls, Hero calls.

River: (11 BB) 4 (3 players)
SB checks, MP1 checks, Hero bets, SB calls, MP1 calls.

Final Pot: 14 BB

Results in white below:
SB has Kc Kh (two pair, kings and fours).
MP1 has 8s 8h (two pair, eights and fours).
Hero has Qs Ts (flush, queen high).
Outcome: Hero wins 14 BB.

Standard. fold preflop is not horrible.
flop cap is not horrible.
To win in poker you only need to be one step ahead of your opponents. Two steps may be detrimental.

3-betting the flop is standard. If you call make sure to cap.
