I like the turn raise but i fold to the 3bet.

Something funny with the history - what happened to SB on the river?

SB was allin calling my raise, i guess HH converted misinterpreted it as a 3-bet. Sorry bout that, didnt see the mistake when posting.

In that case I assume no-one 3bet the turn.

Hard to see what you're beating on the river though. Button raises a group of limpers on the flop. He calls a bet on the flop, then cold calls your turn raise and finally raises your river lead with a player to act behind him and no reason to think you're going to give up.

The only sensible hand he would do this with would be JcTc. He could also be getting fancy with 99. OTOH the pot is huge and the chance he is making some kind of hopeless bluff is probably large enough that I think you need to pay him off.

the dude was bluffing w A4o in this hand.

It just seemed to me that in these levels ppl can have anything so maybe a more cautious approach was best on the river?
going for c/call

In hindsight, i may have won the hand thanks to this guys raise, kicking out the overcaller.

I dont know, i posted the HH cause i'm never sure wether to go aggro or more passive in these kinda crazy games w maniacs.

I paid off thinking i was beat, bu the pot was so huge...

Yeah that raise did smell a bit funny.

I think your strategy vs maniacs should generally lean towards passive play unless you have a good hand - by which I mean TP or better. You definitely should be checking and calling with any pair and often with A high if it's HU. Also you should keep betting and raising your good hands for value. If he's never folding and bluff-raising a lot then you're going to make a ton of money when you have a good hand yourself.
